2/22 4H Meeting Day

The President's Day speech was postponed last week due to the additional 9 inches of snow received.  The make up speech was today, but we had already committed to being at the 4H meeting.

After all the 'business' we had "walking tacos" and made marshmellow snowmen.

2/21 Family Day

We were finally able to go out for our Anniversary, Valentines, Birthday Dinner (Lunch).  We went up to Marion and spent lots of time in Menards (pronouced May-nards) and then lunch at Red Lobster!  YUM!

2/20 PineCar Derby

Zachary was awarded the "Christian Sportsmanship Award" for the 3rd time.  He has a tender heart for everyone and cheers for them all.  His Dad and I know that his Christian attitude is much more important than wherever his car places.

Only the boys (one for each group) that received the award got a prize from Pastor Bernie's bag.  Zachary choice: A neat boy's Bible with holograms on the cover.

AND...we 'entertained!'  Friends from quizzing who are moving to a farm in the next few weeks came out for dinner and chatting about the things to do.
